Default magnaflow catback and good deal?

Hey first off how is the quality of the magnaflow catback system for the 04 goat? I have a corsa catback on my camaro and love that, will the magnaflow disapoint? I ask this because on LM performance's website they have a package of the K&N air charger intake with the magnaflow catback for 770. This sounds like a good deal to me....what do you guys think?

The Magnaflow cat back is one of the best ones on the market, you wouldn't be disappointed. Bob

I have a Magnaflow on my 04 GTO and love it. Maryland Speed has a sale going on right now for $620.

I just installed mine this weekend. The quality of the build was very nice. Much better than others ive seen. Got them from MSP for the $620ish sale price in like 2 days. Awesome!

I had one, but had to switch out the mufflers for spiralflows. The magnaflows were just too quiet for me, they're almost as quiet as stock, and I've got long tubes.

Quality is good though, and price is unbeatable (until Pacesetter's new catback hits the market).

I have a 04 GTO with the Magnaflow system and I love it. My only bitch is that the stock system uses two hangers for the mufflers and the magnaflow only uses one. This causes additional movement in the system and I don't like this. Other than that, great system great sound. Makes her sound like an exotic sports car as compared to the stock muscle car sound in my opinion.

I highly doubt the Pacesetter system will be in the same league as the Magnaflow system. Bob

Hey, Kyle, I just saw that a pretty popular performance shop has the Magnaflow CB system for 599. The moderators here tend to be kinda Nazish about us mentioning non-sponsor names, so PM me if you'd like the link.

Magnaflow is nice but I would check the others too.

Here's a link to a thread full of gto exhaust video/sound clips:

I just called magnaflow about the 2 hanger vs. 1 hanger bitch. Their response was that the magnaflow system is 18 lbs. lighter than stock and does not need the additional hangers.

Another + for magnaflow: 18 lb. weight reduction!
