4l60e build question
Hey guys, I have a chance to purchase a vortech supercharged T/A for a great price, but the car needs to be built (stock rear/engine/suspension). However there is some work on the 4l60e. In short, I am trying to figure out whether or not the car would be worth taking the time and money to build it up, and need to know if the tranny is good as is or if it need some additional work to be reliable. Right now the car dynos in at 475, and I would have a final goal of around 500-550. Here is a list of what has been done so far:
$149.13 ---- Master overhaul kit
$40.69 ---- Filter
$9.90 ---- Pump bushing
$38.00 ---- 13 vane pump kit
$24.90 ---- Separator plate
$82.50 ---- Billet servo assembly
$47.99 ---- Pro series Race Band
$57.20 ---- High Flow Shift solenoids x2
$115.20 ---- Pressure control solenoid
$69.90 ---- Beast Sun shell
$675.00 ---- High Stall Torque converter w/H-D Lock-up clutch
The tranny was built by CTS Transmissions in Plymouth Michigan. I know that the builder matters just as much as the parts used, so if anyone has any experiances or stories about these guys, please let me know
Thanks for the help guys
