Default Please Help Me With A Cam

I own a 2003 Silverado SS (6.0) with long tube headers, ported and polished throttle body, street tuned pcm (soon to be speed density), 3200 stall converter, shift kit, and various other bolt-ons. All of the internals are stock. I use the truck for bracket racing only and never drive on the street.

I currently have a Comp 236/238, .601/.605 113 sitting in the garage but I have heard that this cam is way too big for my combination.

Can anyone recommend a cam that would match with my set-up and what I use the truck for? Some people have said that I could make the one I have work but that it would take major work and expensive modification. I would rather buy a new cam than do all of the work they have been suggesting. Thanks...

You should get in contact with Patrick G here on the board. Well worth the $25 to get the cam spec'd just for you. His sig has links to his form to fill out.
