Default Humvee 4l80e in an f-body?

I know that a 4l80e backs various humvee motors, especially in the newer turbo diesels, but does anyone know if they are combatible in an f-body? I would'nt think they are, as the 4x4 4l80 is the only one that wont bolt right up, but i would like to get some more insight.

what about bellhousing bolt patterns? still the same?

any bellhousing will bolt up,the lsx type, 99-up have a bolt at 12:00 the early trans does not. the 4x4 has a short output (tailshaft)for the transfer case adapter to bolt to. the 2wd has a long tailshaft and an aditional sensor, so the 4x4 can be converted, buy a trans shop.
