Cool Looking for Powerful DD cam?

Do you have any input on what cam delivers the most power and torque wanted for a DD car.

Or simply tell tell me what you have for a settup.

Thanks

I just ordered a PredatorZ cam. Should be good under the curve and pretty strong up top too. 230/234 .612/598 on a 111+3 XFI/X-ER Should work well with my PRC 5.3's.

Patrick G specs out a cam that seems to be working extremely well, even in a cam only situation.
Here is a link to dyno results - > https://ls1tech.com/forums/dynamometer-results-comparisons/906564-2003-z06-cam-only-432rwhp-400rwtq-guess-cam.html There is a link in the post also to another using the same cam with the same results. 430+ rwhp cam only in a 6.0l seems pretty nice to me.

Depends on what you are willing to put up with in a DD. Personally I run an F14 HighLift from Futral, dyno numbers coming next Wednesday. Although it drives pretty well untuned, I don't know if I'd classify it as a "DD cam" just because it's got a pretty hefty amount of lift. The TR224 cam does put down great numbers for its size, I just wanted something a little bigger.

The F13 from Futral seems to be an excellent choice for a DD also. It's a little bigger than the 224 but if you check the Dyno section you'll find that it throws down some nice numbers, has good manners during everyday driving, and performs at the track.

^^^ Your right a good tune will take the lumps away but it doesnt move the powerband back down to where a smaller cam rocks. Just a matter of where you want your powerband to be, personal taste.
