New cam tune, have a couple ?'s for answering I got a new cam in last night. MTI-R1 234/236 112LSA .574 intake .578 exhaust. The car wont idle very well at all. Sometimes it will, most times it wont. It runs good though when not at an idle. So im going to get it tuned by a local guy with HP tuners.
He says he knows what he's doing, and since he is really my only option i got to trust him. But i have a few questions also. Now obveously i will have him set the fan temp to 160 remove the govener, and skip shift. And raise the rev limiter.
My heads are 241's milled ported. Comp 981's CM pushrods. How high can i SAFELY and effectivly raise the rev limiter?
Also is there any tips you guys can give me that i can relay to him on tuning in the cam so the car will idle better? IDK **** about this stuff.
