Default How to get vacuum "tree" off the backof an intake?

need to replace the vacuum tree on the back of my intake... how do i remove my old one?

If it's the LS1/LS6 intake, the tree and map sensor is all in one, just a plug that goes into the back of the intake. You'll need to remove the intake to get to it.

I have a spare intake I'm using, just wondering how it actually comes off? Just pull it out?

I don't think it comes out. I had an intake the ups dropped and everything broke out with part of the intake. Didn't look like it popped out.

a deep socket will work, u don't have to take the intake off !!!!!

are you talking about the oil pressure sender or something... I don't see how a socket would help with this?

yeah that doesn't make sense. A socket is not gonna help...I tried to pull pull pull, pry and I couldn't get it out..I gave up and just figured the **** don't come out..
