Default New clutch: Pedal Wont move

Searching didnt find me what I was looking for...

Put in a new clutch , spec 2+ with flywheel. Put the trans back in in and went to test the clutch pedal out, and its hard stuck- can barely move it ½ inch ( thats just pedal spring slack )

Car had a crappy stock clutch, 16,000 miles, 2002.

I am thinking there is something wrong with the slave, the kit from spec came with a replacement TO bearing for the slave which I installed along with a shim.

Havent tried to start the car yet. Should the car be netural started while it is like this?

Did you double check the line? Make sure it's plugged into the slave.

I installed and checked the line to the slave. It would take pushing the quick disconnect back in to remove it.

x2 on sounds like the braided master line to the slave. I would disconnect and then reconnect it just to make sure. Make sure it clicks in.

I'm with these guys. Make sure it's pressed in all the way.

Thanks guys - the line going into the slave was clicking in but not making full contact. Replaced the line clicked it in , pedal works great!
