know its a little ways out, but I just wanted to spread the word. The Firebirds Car Club at Kettering University is putting on a car show to help raise money for group activites such as a Drag Day at Milan Dragstrip, Autocrosses in Birch Run, dyno days, and Kart2Kart events. The registration fee is $15 and all proceeds will go toward the club. The date is scheduled for Saturday, May 17th; registration at 8am and awards at 2:30pm. Winners of each class will receive a custom engraved plaque with our logo, the date, and class information, I can't remember but I think they are 7" X 10"?? We plan on having food vendors there as well.

For those who don't know, Kettering is in Flint, MI and is located at 1700 W Third Ave.

The show is open to anything. The other guy helping me put the car show on is a member of the HAMB forum, so there should be a decent turn-out of older roadsters and hot-rods. I will have my GTO there plus my roommate has a Brazen Goat and BucknerBuck2 and SilverBullet should be there. You can bring your GTO or if you, or a buddy, has something else...feel free to bring that as well.

Mark your calendars now and plan on coming out to Kettering to help support our school's car club. Also its a good excuse to get out and drive the Goat to somewhere new. I look forward to seeing some of you there.

The plaques were ordered today and will be here this week.

Anyone else planning on stopping out? We handed out flyers at the GM Tech Center yesterday, so some of those guys are going to head up.
