Default HOw tough r the LS7 Lifters???

hey guys just wondering how tough the LS7 lifters are? i am gonna be running a supercharged 408 with an equally mean set of heads and cam will they hold or should i upgrade again?

If it were me I would at least get the CTS racing ones

They should be fine. Spend more money for the Caddys if you'll sleep better but since I don't think you'll need to spin to the moon with your SC I would be fine with the LS7's. I have seen LS7's spin 7K+ consistently and perform great.

I'm running them in my 383 build and that will spin to 7K plus. GM wouldnt put a lifter in a motor that spins to 7K STOCK and has a warranty if they werent a good piece. I have heard of ppl doing cam swaps in the new LS7 Z-06's and spinning to 7500 with stock lifters so you should be fine.

LS7 lifters are the standard now for replacing lifters. I doubt you'll have any problems.

Not sure if this is what your asking but the LS7 lifters are now the oem replacement part so they are stock. I have seen the old style hold well at 7K too.

just asking cause i got a pretty good size cam....... and been beating on it a lil lately and was wondering if i should upgrade (sorry for the hijack) 04 m6 gto megadeath cam.
