Default Slight pinging? MAF??

Hey guys I just recentely picked up this 02' Formula which seemed to ping slightly at higher rpms. Well the check engine light turned on and it said bad MAF, so you guys think the pinging has to do with that? It also threw a code for the 02 sensors which can be caused by having a bad MAF sensor right?

A bad MAF wont cause it to throw a O2 sensor code, replace your MAF and re-scan your computer.

What are the codes specifically?

I would address those problems first, whether it means cleaning or replacing the MAF, and/or replacing the o2's. If the problem still persists, you may consider a seafoam treatment, and then add a catch can to trap any oil that may be otherwise ingested through the intake manifold.
