315's arent ganna fit a stock rim
275/40 are ganna hook better then 315/35 because there is more side wall and thats what helps you hook up but on the street 315 might hook better

The 275 MTs will outhook the hell out of the 315 Nittos simply because of the different compounds. Ive tried both and this is what I found on my 420rwhp M6.
The only thing to consider is: how long do you want them to last?
MT>Nitto for traction. Nitto > MT for longevity. My MTs lasted like 3k miles, and the Nittos consistently get about 10k miles

I have the 275 BFG DR's and tell you what. Im not impressed much with them at all at the moment. Its still chilly here, but as of now with heads/cam I can roll em in first and pretty decent in second. They are a hell of alot better then a standard radial, which I could roll all the way through third, but man, I kind of expected abit more from them. I guess we will see how they hook up once it warms up abit.

According to my program at work (tire shop), the SS wheels are 17x9.5 and the ws6 wheels are 17x9... well, i could have sworn that's what i saw. Anyhow, a nitto 315 does run smaller than other 315's, so they MIGHT fit. If you want to hook up, go with the 275 m/t, if you want looks, get the nitto 315's... if you want the looks and the hooks, get 315 m/t or 315 bfg's.
