like the title says...anything worth knowing between the years to know which one would be worth getting or not? Driving feel, power, bottle necks etc...thank you!

The 05 is all by itself when it comes to the computer. Its computer is different from the 06-07. There is a roof TSB on the 05and 06 cars about the roof separating from the mechanism that holds it down. The later 06 and 07 cars you were able to get the 6 speed auto the 05 came with the 4 speed auto. There are other things I just can't remember right now.

With the prices now, and improvements on the 08 LS3's, if you can afford one, the 08's are the way to go!

If you're on a tight budget, get the 05. The whole "first year" rumor doesn't apply to the C6. Mine's been great. That being said, the 06+ have slight improvements with each year, so if you have the cash, the newer the better.
