Default valve springs?cams?

I am sure this has been answered before but I am new to the board. I have a couple of questions. I have an 01 Z28 LS1.
1. Will replacing the valve springs and the pushrods with better ones have an advantage?
2. Will the LS6 valve springs fit? the 01 or the 02 or both.
3. I know the stock pushrods are whimpy. I was considering the Manly chromemoly. stock size 7.4" Any suggestions?
4. Will the 01 or 02 LS6 cam fit in a stock 01 LS1 without any other modifications?
5. Any computer tuning needed with any of the above mods?

I know there are better cams out there but these are my only two choices.
I appreciate everyones help. Thanks.

Default Re: valve springs?cams?

replaceing both is a good idea, and go with the 02 springs the 01zo6 cam, valves, and springs are not very good! i am useing the manley pushrods and they work great. it should run but to get peak performance you should get a tune.yes the cam will fit!
