Default camaro/cam question

i have a 2000 camaro z-28. its an auto and has 163,xxx miles on it. i know high miles, anywho. i'm buying a rear end out of a 2001 camaro with 342 gears b/c i have shitty *** 273 and i'm gettin the rearend for 100 so i figure its worth it. I have long tubes, off road y, cut and bassani cat back, lid, screen delete and msd wires. I might end up spraying towards then end of summer but in the mean time i want a cam. which cam would be a good setup for stock with exhaut and maybe spray down the road. and what else should i change.

Anyone, and about how long you think the engine will stand a cam? thanks.

I would get a stall first and then a cam. The TSP torquer 2 or 3 is a great cam. Do some reading. There are a number of cams that are good. Also replace that oil pump and chain. That is a lot of miles on that baby. What condition is the trans in?

Good luck.
