one tailight bulb brighter than other side...
ok one stop lamp of my driver side tail light is brighter than the one in the passenger side tailight, its very noticable, the bright one makes the other one seem burnt out, its one of the brake lights, not the turn signal or backup light, i replaced the bulbs and same thing nothing happened, whats wrong?

Both bulbs are the same, and I replaced the socket of the bulb that has little light with a new one and I still have the problem, on the ground cable...Its attached on the driver side near the tail light with the bulb that is brighter, could it be this? I think ill go try relocating the ground between both taillights to see if it fixes it, thanks

i would not relocate the ground but disconect it and scuff it up and get good contact surfaces and reconect it and see what happens. i forget do the left and right brake lights connect and only have one set of wires running to the front or do they indivadully left/right have seprate sets going to the front. if ther conect to each other you may check the bright side conections. i may half to check out how they are wired on my car.

Look closely at the bulb outside of the lens. They have two filaments in them. One for the parking light and the other for the brake light. (So, they bulb is double-bright when the parking lights and the brake are on.)
When you apply the brake and have your headlights on, are they all the same brightness?
If you have a crossed wire in the system, both filaments could get lit for a single-filament condition - which would make one look brighter than the other.
