Default intake upgrades

ok ls1tech im going to do an upgrade for my intake im going to be a full bolt on car and since i still have the ls1 intake im wondering what to get fast set up ported ls6, or what. and what would be my gains money not like a big thing i just wanna see whats up

What are the plans for the car? If you are going to get heads and a cam a ported fast would probably be the ticket. If you are just gonna do minor bolt ons an ls6 would be a great option and wont cost you a lot.

What he said! If u get a fast its easy to port by ur self if u go cam only later.

BTW, you really can't port an LS6. There is minimal material to remove.

yea im prob gonna stay bolt just so my value on my car stays higher cuase i got low mil but whats like the horse power over the ls6 set up

Sounds like you should go with an ls6, look for one in the parts classified. Its a great intake for the price. Look at getting your throttle body ported also!

if you are going to stay stock with bolt ons then a ls6 would be enough . i think the ls6 intake flows around 260 cfm so that would be enough for the stock heads .
from experience , people who are in the market for our kind of cars expect it to be quick . a fbody with heads , cam and a fast intake would sell quicker , for better money than a stock bolt on . just my .02

Yea Im Prob Gonna Go With The Ls6 Im Thinking Bout Heads And Cam In The Future But By That Time I Can Prob Buy The Whole Set Up
