Default Corvette LS1 and F-body T56

hey guys, another question bout my 1967 mgb gt v8 conversion. i am planing on using a t56 trans from a 98-02 f body. i was about to purchase my ls1. i finally found the perfect one from a 1999 corvette when i realized it would be smart to ask if a t56 trans from an f body will mate up to a corvette ls1. i know the corvette's originally have that "trans axle" thing and their trans are located in the rear. so my question is, will that be a problem?

thnks

It'll work no problem. The Corvettes used a special bellhousing to attach the torque tube, etc, but the blocks are physically the same, so your F-body stuff will bolt up to it.

Yup, what he said. The motor itself is identical, and it will bolt right up, just use the F-body slave since its slightly different if im not mistaken.
