Default Gutting cats or removing??

I am getting ready to purchase a predator and planned to either remove my cats or gut them. I have a few questions:
1) How much do you gain at the track by gutting/removing them?
2) The predator will remove the codes that would trip the engine light, correct?
3) Where can I get cat bypass tubes?
4) Are there any gain in MPG??

Thanks

If I were to choose I would say to remove it. You can get good money for selling a complete cat. Most recyclers do not want them after busted apart.

A valid question, since a gutted cat would pass a visual inspection but not a meter. I would rather remove mine and put an ORY on, then put the cats back on for inspection (if Indiana had any, that is).

i gutted mine and then ran a piece of 2.25 pipe through them and welded the ends so it looks real but doesnt distort flow.the drivers side was a PITA cause it had a bend in it. The car sounds WAY better and I "feel" like it picked up some.
