Default One hell of a night (The Ville 5/3/08)

I would like to tell everyone, great runs, awesome rides, nice to meet you, and so on. It was a fun filled night. I meet lots of new people and saw a bunch I already knew. I am finding it hard to put all the faces with the names and cars. We planed on meeting you guys at Best Buy but my dumb *** for some reason thought it was at Wallmart (3rd exit), so I was like where is everyone at? hehe. My memory sucks bad.

I would like to congratulate Merv on his sportsmanship and his cars performance. I thought the car did great. There was lots of talk going around after our race about N2O. People said you said I sprayed you, people said you were spraying. For the record I was on all motor and the slip proves it. You don't run a slower ET and MPH if you are spraying. You would know if I had sprayed you.
Hey Merv, remember the yellow slip means you lost. hehe

Here is some of the times I ran

first one right off the rollback
BEST MOTOR PASS EVER
1.55 60 ft
4.41 330ft
6.80 1/8 @ 101
8.70 @120.84 13.0 on AFR shifting at 6400 N2O plugs and a tight .035 gap

The run with merv for the WIN
BEST 60FT ON MOTOR EVER
1.48 60ft
4.46 330ft
6.90 1/8 @ 101
8.84 @ 118.61 I only had a 30 min cool down on this run so the motor was heat soaked pretty bad. I think that's why it didn't run the number it normally does.

First N20 pass (100 shot)
2nd round Super EFI
BEST N2O 60 FT EVER (HOLY ****) BEST ET
1.35 60ft
4.08 330
6.35 @ 109
8.13 @ 127.26 900 PSI/ 28 DEGRESS TIMING/ 6400 SHIFTS/ 12.5 afr (A little lean)
Burn out

8.13 pass (100 shot)

Super EFI final round I decided to step it up and try for a 7 sec slip. I re jetted the spray for a 150 shot and took 2 degrees out (26 total)
BEST ET AND MPH FOR THE CAR EVER!!!
1.41 60ft
4.13 330
6.36 1/8 @ 111.91
8.12 @ 129.61

The car spun off the line and lost the Et by the 330

8.12 pass (150 shot)

My buddy Shane in the red Vette broke his rear diff earlier that night so we had to figure out how to get his car home. I brought mine on the rollback and he drove his. I figured I would load up his on the rollback and drive mine back. The problem was I had my slicks on and I don't trust slicks doing 80 for 80 or so miles. My wheels won't fit on his do to his car has not been setup to run a 16 inch rear rims. Long story short we had to put his car on the rollback and put Todds (black SS) front tires on the back of my car. After doing musical tires we ended up getting everyones cars home.

I would like to say again, I had a great time, met a lot of new people and saw a bunch of friends. Great turnout! Thanks for all the comments on the cars and If anyone needs anything feel free to come by my shop or give me a call. Everyone was nice and friendly and for once I didn't want to choke the **** out of Merv. LOL J/K. I wished I could have meet everyone but there was quite a bit going on all night. My boy Jace ended up in the final round of SUPER EFI and took home a trophy. Way to go Jace. Todd pulled off his best pass of a 9.10 on a new suspension setup that is not tuned in yet. Good job Todd. Austin in the red ramair pulled off a 10.3 for his best ET in a pretty much stock car. Congrats Austin! Congrats to everyone else. Had a blast!

Joel and Jace

Yea.. I heard the same thing about the Spray..eveyone that knows me pretty much knows that I am all-motor, and I told anyone that asked that you were on Motor.

I know the yellow is the losing slip.. but I gave it hell and that was the fastest pass of the night for me. We pretty much were side-by side out of the hole and down the Track.

It was a good time.

You need to man.

I enjoy doing burnouts. I need more power, or a lighter truck. The bastards and their swapped isuzu's are about to drive me crazy. I got second in EFI Street, then some lady came up and told me that I wasn't supposed to run in that class. I said "ok thanks, I am just running what Wayne told me to" Went and got my trophy and went home. Had a blast.

Yea that is what she came over there and talked to me about, I knew that it didnt meet the rules, but there was only 3 people in that class. I think Splitting up the classes was a good/bad idea. Oh I guess I just need to find me some tires that aren't ''illegal''. I also commend William on being a good sport about it. If I had a pulley, and a little weight reduction, and a good tune, I would or tried Super Duper EFI. Hell I know jace cant be that much faster than me lol.

Not hating, just stating. There was another one up there last weekend. I think its Calebs dads? He handed me my *** last year. They are light weight trucks, and I dont blame you guys for using one to put a motor and a blower in.

I'm very tempted to take that PYE3600 off your hands and throw it in my heap with a healthy shot....but I can't quite bring myself to part with the PT4400. This converter is just too much fun. I don't think I'd like a converter as tight as yours for every day driving. And nitrous would just get me in trouble.....I can't afford to break anything right now. What converter are you looking at?

Swapping converters would get old real quick....you ought to look into a SS4000. Great all motor converter and perfect for the spray. Although it sure as hell doesn't compare to the PT4400 in any way.
