Default tranny shops/experts come in please

how the heck do you remove the pump from a 4L65E i know you have to remove the bellhousing but what else and how????

the lockup solenoid in the case and the bolts and technically use a puller but you can tap it out with a brass drift from behind

You need to remove the pan, lock up solenoid, filter, pump bolts and then with the use of a pump puller remove the pump. Or use a screw driver and pry the pump from the case. Be careful not to damage the case while doing so. The best place to pry the pump out is between the filter seal area of the pump and the reverse input drum. Here is the area that is best to pry in. Does $250 to $275 sound right to bring it in and change pump with a new one and they do it

well they said like $190 for pump PWM and like $60 for labor
