Default Email delay

There is a day or two delay before I receive email notifications from the site. What gives? Is anyone else having the same problem?

Yeah, there's something goofy going on here. When I went to looked at the list of my subscribed threads, there were two that I had not received email notifications for. Yet, the icon showed them as "No New Posts" even though I never read them!

What gives?

Yeah it finally caught up -- our mail system had a little case of constipation or something. Not sure what the deal is, I don't mess with the email

Slow DNS resolution could really hamper your email as it will take much longer for each message to send. You may want to check your resolv.conf. Also, you may want to double check nobody found an exploit and was able to relay spam from one of your servers.
