Default 408 sts.. Need input

I'm getting a built 408,custom cam, w/ a 9.1 cr w 241 heads,intercooler,okay I was planning on runnin my 60 trim that I got from sts, is the turbo to small...any input is apprciated.... Oh yea looking for a 12 bolt rear end

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY too small. Not sure what size snail to run for a rear-mount on such a large cube motor :whoknows:

GTS 76 Is what I run on my4xx. .80 AR Full boost 7 psi at 3400 six speed 3.73,1 gears. If you get another turbo the stock intake pipe in the rear will not work. I also used epp for a referance on my build. Car mad 610 on 7 psi.

T 76 for sure. I was choking that 60-trim turbo on the stock block!!

I wont retract my previous statement about the sts setup but I will say if you're going rear mount a custom setup would be the only way to go for me. There a couple guys on here running st80's out back with good success so far.

ST80 is alot of turbo! great for top end power. But you need to do some custom work to feed that beast trust me LOL! Good luck. Jose at force inductions will set you right. I got what I wanted low lag and mid to top end pull.

I run a Garrett t88 t6 flange turbo outback and It fit just fine.

I'm running a .96 AR on my rear mounted 408 TC76. I think anything less is too restrictive and will peak too soon.

what's ur rwhp?????and what size is ur cold piping, you do any mods to make it fit to ur exhaust side? And where did u get ur turbo from??? Thanks

Its a sts kit with stock coldside,but may change to 3 1/2 all the way up.Wont know until I get It to the dyno for a sd tune.

Rear Mount ST80 on a 370 cu in checkin in, 1.00 a/r too. Cold side is 2.25 and 2.5". Spools pretty good IMO.

bringing this thread back....anyhow im getting a performabuilt stage 3 4l60e tranny.....i have a 3200 vig converter..is this to much stall.....got a 408 w/ a garrett t76 in the rear.....what are you guying runnin as far as stalls???thanks.....
