Default Upgrade clutch or wait..

I'm putting down over 400 with the cam only and with spray say another 50-75, getting ready to upgrade my gears also to 3.90s. The current clutch grabs well through the 1-2, 2-3, but when i spray the pedal is hard to engage but eventually comes back.

Looking at a spec stage 2 from a user on the forums here, but read the nightmares that people are having with any of the spec line. Should I upgrade or wait, not sure if I have the LS6 clutch currently or not. Don't wanna throw away money that could be used somewhere else on the car. TIA for the input guys.

The stock clutch (ls6 or not) won't last very long at the power level you're at, and is probably on borrowed time already. You're going to need a stronger replacement at some point.....whether that point is now or not is probably up to your pocketbook.

Get a clutch overkill in this department is a good idea IMO.
