Default Bette running with boost leak???

So I have had my turbo car running and driving for almost a week now. I just realized last night that I had one tube unplugged at the throttle body that would have been a boost leak, not vacuum. Anyhow I chuckled and plugged it off and figured I might see a # more boost and went out for a ride. I was suprised to see what I think is a hair less boost, and a little bit less responsive/ powerful engine. I even have a slight surge feeling now at part throttle. Why in the world could this be?

This is an SD setup, and it was before the throttle body so its no vacuum leak, just boost. Im a little confused....

you should do a boost leak test, I'd bet there is more then one leak there...
