Default Way to go GM performance parts

If anyone is considering the corvette front drive setup, part number 19155066,someone on another board ordered one and when it arrived, all the corvette parts had been replaced with Cts-v parts. The problem with this setup is the low mount alternator on the driver side.Basically it is the same as a f-body.Everyone has been waiting for 2+ years for this kit, especially S-10 guys. He's already contacted GMPP and they claim the part number is for the low mount cts-v setup.Even their latest catalog has a breakdown of each part included in the 19155066 kit,and it's all Corvette parts.

19155066 is the GEN III kit
19155067 is the GEN IV kit

Good info here, I have been trying to sort out the best way to go. Most say the Corvette stuff fits the 3rd gen F body best, but the 4th gen F body stuff will also work with a little more massaging?

Is that about right, or all BS?

Thank

I pieced my own Corvette style system together. There is a parts list in one of the stickies. I got a rebuilt power steering pump for about $140 and an alternator from Advanced Auto for about $225.
