oil pressure droping under hard accelaration WTF? Notice this morning that my car when I realy get on it in first gear at about 4500 RPMS the oil pressure will drop from about 75 down to 20-30 then when I shift it goes back to normal. What would cause this?

Re: oil pressure droping under hard accelaration WTF? You are forcing the oil to the rear of the pan and uncovering the pickup.
Add 1/2 quart even if the dipstick shows full.
