New Guy..Going From Stang to LS1

Default New Guy..Going From Stang to LS1

Well Im new to this, and like the new guy from houston said, "I was a mustang guy, but family and friends recomended LS1's" So here I am, I currently dont own an LS1 but I am looking. If any one knows were I can find an SS or TA. let me know.(no more then 12k)

I got mine off www.cars.com . You can type in what color or options you want.Price range. Only downfault I had was mine was in Minnesota and I was in NY. I liked cars.com though, better than autotrader.


O ya, and good move to a LS1 !

Welcome to the forums!

Make sure you get either an '01 or '02 since they will have the LS6 intake manifold and power steering cooler standard. I am sure you will find some SLP cars in the mileage range you are looking for. Definitely check the for sale forums on several F-body sites! You can find some excellent and well-kept cars, many with bolt-ons, wheels, etc. Have fun shopping.

Just curious, what made you want to switch over to the "dark side?" Was it recommendations from friends and family, or cube envy?

you might want to carry a box of tissues around with you when you take your first test drive, most mustang owners will **** when they feel the power of a real sports car
