Question adjusting qa1's... please help

I just put qa1 coilover on the front of my camaro. I got the drag launch springs with the single adjustable struts. both of the sides were set at the same level. but the car sat lower on the passenger side by about half an inch. so after getting the spanner wrench i raised it up half an inch. the i drove it around a little and when i got back and checked it it was in the same place... still half an inch lower. so i raised it again, drove it around, measured, and still half an inch lower than the drivers side. i loosened the sway bar on both sides, drove it around, measured, and still wrong... anyone know why the two sides are different and not adjusting?? both of the springs are seated correctly at the top and bottom

Mines the same way. Got the car level but both springs sit in different positions on the shocks. Don't know why either.

well after raising the passenger side 3 quarters of an inch it still sits at pretty much the same height as before i raised it. i'm just wandering why there is such a difference from one side to another???

Do you actually drive the car a lil after letting it down off the jack? Wont sit right unless moving it after letting back down on the ground.

Wierd, I have the same setup(on a TA though) and just got through re-installing my QA1's with QA1 springs. I was off by a 1/4 inch, made a small adjustment and now my ride height is the same of each side..

Is there more negative camber on the passenger side, or more positive camber on the drivers side? Did you measured the ride height on flat, level(no angle) surface? Are the upper spring mounts in good shape? Have you had a friend sit in the drivers seat, while you measured it? It might sit level with a driver in it.

sorry.. but what is positive and negative chamber? and yes i measured on a flat and level surface, and the upper spring mounts are in good shape. the pass side is currently sitting 3/4 of an inch higher on the strut threads than the drivers side and still sits lower...

Could be a bad spring on the passenger side. I've seen that happen with aftermarket springs before. Back in the day, I used to work for Nopi and we would occasionally get back a bad set of springs. The customer complaints were that the car would not sit level or one side dipped. Try a new spring and see if that helps.

[] = 0 camber

negative camber [] positive camber
the tire leans in --- the tire leans out
at the top --- at the top

thanks a lot! i already knew about caster and camber and tow and some of that stuff. I didn't realize what you were talking about because it said "chamber" instead of "camber"... thanks for the diagram. i'll be sure to check it out when i adjust it tomorrow.
