Having a helluva time getting that bolt out, shouldnt be this tough, everything else is disconnected, however the bolt won't come out and I cant get the rack out because when I go to pull the bolt out it hits the pan

either disconnect the motor mount and jack up the motor or cut the bolt and replace it through the bottom. to do it right you hace to put it through the top. otherwise if it was through the bottom and the nut loosened up the bolt would fall out.

That is true about the bolt falling out if you replaced it upside down like i did. However there is a very simple solution to fix that problem, you could either put a dab of blue loc tite on it or put a lock washer on, problem solved

Sawzall . Lop the head off, install new bolt from the bottom when you're done .
