Take $350.00 buy a LS6 intake, the what you would spend on a Fast intake buy a nitrous kit, and call it a day.

go ahead and get the fast intake. you'll be prepared for future mods and it won't choke at high rpms....

It won't "choke out" with an LS6. Only future mod that may choke out the LS6 would be the shortblock upgrade to 400+CID or some obviously too big heads.

If you take it to Toy's R' Us to have it installed then that may be true. Where did you hear this?

One of my mechanic friends. I understand that if you do it properly and have everything correctly installed and the parts/money to back it up you'll be fine. I'm just hypothetically restating that some people "Spray and Pray".

My undestanding is on a mild H/C setup a FAST is worth about 20rwhp and 15tq on a LS6. It is not cheap HP which is why the LS6 is still so popular.
