Default WS6 clone missong something.....the V8

ugh... 1996 Firebird turned T/A WS6... i figured it was an LT1 clone of a late model WS6 until i looked at the engine photo

it's also only got a 120mph speedo

Pretty shitty how he badged it as a Trans Am, let alone a WS.6

Wouldn't be a big deal to me if he badged it as a Firebird, or just left it debadged.

Whatever floats their boat. Other than it being a V6 the car looks pretty nice on the outside. Sure the WS6 Emblem on a V6 is a total no-no. It's gonna be hilarious when the WS6 emblem police get in on this thread! lol.

This was one of my plans
Get a 3.8 firebird and dress it like a WS6 (no badges)
then have the real deal looking carbon copy (-engine and small interior keys)
and ask to race someone in your "Trans AM" and show how its a clone and then show up in the BEAST lol
good for a laugh and to **** people off

I would buy that as a daily driver, take off the emblems, and that way I have body parts for my real WS6 if anything ever happend. Although at 4500 it's a little high for a 96 V6 that's rebadged. I've seen 98+V6's go for that much.

The base model firebirds had rear drum brakes and disc in the front. ABS in the front only as well. With the addition on the Y87 option on the firebird you would get 4 wheel disc, posi rear, and dual turn down tip exhaust. That option was first offered in 96.

On a side not it is a very nice lookin car, but I wouldnt have invest so much time and money in to it myself.
