Default passing emmissions...

alright its near that time for me to do emmissions since the first time i got the car. I had it done september of 06 but since then ive installed the headers, y pipe and catback. i live in illinois so they are not too strict about emmissions out here. i remember last time they hooked up some harness to the fuel tank and nothing to the exhaust pipes. am i gonna pass the test with no cats? i deleted the code referring to the 02 sensors. will i be alright goin in there the way i am?

harness to the fuel tank? maybe checking the to see if your tank is pressurized? never heard of that. i know in texas they check your gas caps to see if they hold a pressure but not the tank itself

In California that may be true, but most other states aren't psycho hippies about inspections.

If it's a genuine emissions test, then this may actually be the case.... in California or Illinois. I don't know if Illinois have their own agenda, but Federal regulations prohibit removing catalytic converters.

All they do in illinois is an ODB scan. You pass that, you're money. I don't know if they do a gas cap check...
