Generation IV Internal Engine - 402-408-427 Motor Sponsors welcome

I am looking to purchase a built 402-408-427 motor. I am looking for an assembled motor. I do not want a stock motor but a built one. All sponsors are welcome to send me some info including shipping. Long blocks are welcomed and high compression is ok, Turn Key preferred Let me know Thanks everyone. Any recommendation are welcome.

Depends on the budget, if money isn't the main factor in the build then 427. How much power are you looking to make and is it going to be N/A, nitrous or boosted?

Budget and horsepower goals need to be looked at. We just put together a nice 408 for a customer to handle a 300 shot of n2o. We need to look at what your intentions are first.

I am interested in a N/A motor but with a slight, I mean very slight possibly of a single turbo. Mostly I am looking for a 500-600 rwhp car, I know its possible with a LS1(500 that is) but I will spend about the same building the damn thing. I will not use a supercharger or any N02. Low 10 Second car is my goal with the proper mechanics of course(suspension, 9inch, built tranny all the goodies). Also money is a concern I am not looking to spending crazy amount, I have seen that TSP had some great prices so I will be shopping around. I would love to have a Katech motor but I dont think I want to spend that kind of money. Thanks for the help everyone, keep um coming

Easy 500+ RWHP with this one and some LS7 heads/LS7 intake. When you're ready to go turbo, change the pistons and make 1,000 RWHP.

I am using TSP's 402 in my new setup soon to be installed. I hope to see 500rwhp with a 92/92 setup and a better exhaust system. After shopping around they had pretty much the best deal I could find as far as buying a Short Block w/ ARP 2000 rod bolts and ARP main stud kit. There 402 comes with pretty much everything you will need to make it work in an LS1. Good luck with your decision :)

Give Leo at WRE a call. They do all of their machine work. Not only did they repair a damaged cylinder head for me, they freshened up my 402 shortblock. The price was reasonable in both case and the machine work and assembly is first class. I've got over 300 miles on the new setup without a problem.

It is hard to direct you to someone when you aren't sure what you want. A N/A engine and a FI engine can be radically different animals and require different components.

If you had an idea, and a budget it would be easier to direct you. Consider that a long block will run you anywhere from $6,000-$35,000 depending on what you want; and then consider the rest of the drivetrain you will need to support your new beating heart.

I have an idea what I want but dont want to post my entire budgetonline , I know FI and NA is different but a simple change of pistons can lower my compression and be able to run FI so I am aware as to what is required. Thanks for the info!
