Default clutch pedal on the floor

i just bought me a ls1 tonight.. out playin around in and it and it seems like after i get on it hard thru the gear my pedal becomes limp and just stays on the floor.. then it comes back with firmness like normal

im not a tranny guy.. wats up

u need drill mod and flush out your clutch fluid.

very common problem with the M6 f-body. Could be a number of things. My suggestion is to stick a new clutch in it and replace the slave and master cylinder. If your car is a 00 or below, you need to update the hydraulics to the 01+. If your still on the stock clutch and it has a good amount of miles on it, just fix everything at once. Which means new clutch, flywheel, slave cylinder, master cylinder, and do the drill mod.

At the very least, flush and bleed the hydraulics. Check out Ranger's sight about clutch fluid maintenence.
