Default n2o, slipping 1st?

just wondering if anyone's had any issues with a 4L60E that seems to be running fine, but slips 1st a little on the spray?

last night i launched (stock converter, no brake stalling), tires slipped a little, nitrous hit at 3000rpm and rpms seemed to slip up to 4k for a fraction of a second. i don't think i felt the tires slip when the nitrous hit.

checked the fluid. levels are perfect. fluid is bright and does not smell burnt.

anyone else get this?

What stall do you have $ The nitrous maybe blown thru the converter. Or your tranny is getting ready to go boom.

With the stock converter the sprag in it could be letting go or in the trans the input sprag or forward clutch could be slipping

I doubt you'll find a slip code as your converter isn't locked-up yet. If you have a laptop, reference the frame by frame and try and see if you are just spinning a little, looking at your output speed sensor at the same time of the slip. If your sprag is slipping, you should feel a quick release and grab or chatterring on the launch. You may want to pull the trans pan and look for fine metal and break open the filter and unfold the media. Look for metal here. Your atf can still be clean with no smell as metal parts may be starting to fail. Just a few suggestions, good luck.
