Default Anyone else do a G5X2 cam and milled heads.

I have a cam that is very close to the G5X2 cam (232/238 .595/.605 on 112 vs. 232/240 .595/.608 on 112)and LS1 heads milled .030. I have a friend who put the G5 cam in a '02 Zo6 with milled heads and he had to flycut the intake side on the piston. We put my cam in and checked the P to V and it's too close on the exhaust side. My motor has 50,000mi and stock timing chain. Could it be that my chain is sloppy or could it be that my cam may have more lift on the exhaust side than the card says? We cannot figure this out at all! Also does anyone know the compressed thickness of the tri-metal ZO6 head gaskets?

if your heads are milled .030 and you have a G5x2 or bigger...there is no way that it will fit unless you flycut the pistons. the G5x2 was designed to be the biggest cam you can fit into the ls1 with STOCK heads.
