Default Should I lower CR?

I am planning on running between 10-12 psi on my 67mm. I still have stock ported LS1 heads so compression should be 10:1. My question is, is that an unsafe amount of boost for a 10:1 CR or do I need some 317 casting heads? If I have to lower compression, I wouldn't want to go past 9:1.

with that amount of boost at 10:1 you would need Meth in order to run 93 octane. Im running forged flat tops with -2cc reliefs and im having TEA open the chambers up on my 6.0 heads to 75cc and this combo should put me at 9:1 CR and should allow me to run 14psi on 93. no meth.

If you put on 317s with 72cc chambers, that will put you right around 9.6:1 compression level which you could safely run 10 to 12 pounds of boost safely with 93 octane gas and not methanol.
