Default Nitto 555R Questions

1. How should I "Heat Cycle" them?

2. What is a good PSI for the strip?

3. How long of a burnout do you need to warm them up before each run?

Thanks guys.

Don't know about heat cycling them.
I run 18 PSI at the strip.
They hook better with a longer burnout, I don't have a linelock in this car, and don't do the power brake burnout, so I simply skip the water, and burnout between the water box and the starting line. I know its not optimal, but have run 1.86 60ft., Nothing to brag about, but could improve with more burnout and the improved driver mod! Good luck!

Any tips on doing a burnout with a manual? (This is my first).

I'm just worried when I dump my clutch, I'll start to roll before I can get my foot to the brake.

Default Heat'em up

A lot of people don't like Nitto's but they work for me,you have to get them real hot and get the line quick before they cool too much.It works for me.It's a trial and error thing.I run alot of psi like 28.As for a manual try a heel toe method, heel on the brake toe on the gas.

good luck
