Default Lockup Clutch Going?

When driving normal it locks up fine but after a full throttle blast it takes it like 3 min to lockup again. temps stay around 150. Also when going up a hill it feels like it surges alittle like it is slipping. Any input would be helpful. I would like to catch it before it goes so it don't take my built tranny with it. Ohh by the way this is the infamous TCI SSF 3500.

Thanks.

Craig

You would need to data log to see whats happening for sure but I would look at fluid and face of converter for burning also.

Fluid looks fine but when I run it through my fingers it does leave some dark film like a super fine grit. that you can't feel.

But I can drop the flywheel cover and see if converter looks burnt???
