Default TSP Rumbler + MTI Lid...how much?

On an otherwise completely stock WS6, how much horsepower should I expect to gain from these 2 mods? et/mph gains?

What year is your car, auto or stick? Et/MPH will be hard to tell, because we don't know if you know how to drive. Usually bolt-ons will net you a good amount of power, can't tell you how much but every car is different. If i had to take a guess i would say about 15-20hp, but that sjust my guess. The LS1 is a potent power plant the moment you start letting her breath good. I put down 346rwhp and 360rwtrq with lid, longtube headers, x pipe with sweet thunder mufflers, with the factory tune.

2001 M6 WS6.

My last time to the track was a flop, lol. I bogged bad off the line and ran a 14.19@102.28 with 3/4 tank of gas and a 2.36 60' and some slow-ish granny shifting. I fully admit to not being able to drive, but by my ET/MPH question, how much could a GOOD driver benefit? mainly I am interested in horsepower. I think that my shifting and my 100# of extra fuel cost me 2mph on that run.

**** happens don't worry, first time i went to the track i stalled out in the burn out box. F*CKING TRACTION CONTROL! Every car is different, every driver is different, and every track is different. Theres guys that break into the high 12s stock, and theres others that can't break out of the 13s with bolt ons. My only few runs ever on the track i was only able to take home a 13.19@109.83mph, with a 60' of 2.203. That was full bolts on how i dynoed the car that i put down 346rwhp, and i was running some really worn out Hankook tires. Im sure with better grip, and a better 60' i would have seen the 12's.

Don't be to focused on horsepower, you can have all the power in the world and run like *** at the track. Im currently running the MS3, but with my stock 3.42 rear end gears. If we were to race froma slow 1st gear roll you would probably stay with me a bit till i hit 3rd gear, then i would just run away from you. My cam makes great power up top, but without the gears to get me into the powerband quick im f*cked. Best thing to do is base your mods on what you want your car for. Basically if your going to drag race it, don't add on a bunch of suspension stuff thats great for road racing. Buy parts smartly so you don't have to spend the money again later to buy a different product cause the first one you chose wasn't right for your set-up.

It is a DD but I am used to my full bolt-ons/cam/heads/raised compression 5.0's bark and the stock WS6, while strong as hell, is just too quiet for me.

That and the 1-3mpg I can get from a lid-catback are VERY appealing right about now.

Theres your answer, and also take into account if you don't have an LS6 intake on your car. That will make a good difference over the LS1 intake, on the track and on the dyno. I need to get myself one!

Im not so sure abou that i believe all '02s came with them, and some of the later build '01s. But i could be wrong, i say just check it out just to be sure. If you want your car to be loud, you can always shoot for longtubes, off road y, and SLP Loudmouth 1 system. That will really get you noticed everywhere you go, but will be incredibly loud. Or you can shoot for longtubes, off road y, cut-out, stock exhaust system. That way you can be quiet while cruising, and set off alarms with the flip of a switch.
