Default replacing oil pan gasket

has anyone got this done at a dealer if so how much? It just looks to hard to do this on my own

Not all that hard to change the gasket. The hard part is getting to it! I don't know how hard it will be for you to lift the engine and slide the pan out, our LS1 is in a first gen. I believe you could do it though. Changing the gasket itelf is a couple minute job. Are you certain it is the pan gasket leaking and not a rear or front seal?

might be the rear main is this hard to replace?

gotta drop the tranny for the rear one

to drop the pan on the stock k you gota lower the k the three bolts at each end. and even then you gotta juggle the pan out tilted down. its a lot easier on a aftermarket k. just suspend the engine
