Fast Idle??

Fast Idle?? So my 98 Z28 has started to every once and a while begin to idle a 1500 rpms instead of right under 1000. It will keep this high idle until the next day. Has anyone else had this problem? ps; the ac and/or heater is not on.

thanks for your help. Would that cause the 'Service Engine Soon' light to come on, cuz mine just came on today. Also where is this located on the throttle body, and where can i get one if i do need to replace it?
