Default MS3, PRC 5.3 Stg. 2.5 heads horsepower gain?

I have already purchased an MS3 cam package from TSP along with the double spring kit, ported oil pump, powerbond pulley/belts, crank bolt, and hardened pushrods. I have it sitting in my closet and have now decided to go with PRC 5.3 Stg. 2.5 heads as well. Might as well do all the damage now that I'm at it huh? Well, my question is what kinda horsepower could my all bolt on automatic TA be able to hit???? I've been contemplating whether it be worth it or not so maybe some advice would make me feel better about all the money everything is gonna cost me! (Since the wife only thinks I'm gonna spend $1500 ) Would it be close to the 500hp+ marker?

You won't be close being that you're an auto. You'll probably see low 400's to maybe mid 400's if you're lucky. But don't be hung up on the dyno numbers man. You'll put up big ones at the track (Where it matters).

440-460 on a dynojet, about 20 lower on a mustang dyno if you have all boltons including a fast intake and tb.My car put down a measly 433 on a mustang, but i have gone 10.52 at 127 mph at around 3150 lbs.Dont get hung up on the numbers, heads and cam are going to net you a good 75-80 hp with a good tune.Make sure when you order your heads from TSP that you tell them you are going with the MS3 cam, and they will sink the valves a bit for added clearance piston to valve.

Knowing your intake and exhaust systems will help us guess MUCH better. But with REALLY GOOD supporting mods 450+ is possible but don't get disappointed if you don't get there. There are always these freak cars out there that raise everyones expectations about #'s but they are an anomaly. I think you see a lot of big #'s on here cause those guys that make them want everybody to know, but those that dyno lower usually don't want to post. The norm is prolly lower than most show on here. You also have to consider all the dyno variables that can effect #'s. Get some DR's and track times and then worry about what you put down. It's hard to do cause 450+ looks really sexy and I also KNOW some dyno operaters are into giving the customer what they want to see and that is why I think a timeslip is the best way to judge power.

I have those heads with an A4(TCI ssf 3500stall) with a ported fast 90/90
With a tr224/112 i put down 417rwhp 407rwt,and when I swapped out my cam for a pat G that measures 232/238 6xx 6xx 111+2lsa I now put down 435rwhp 407rwt.

Hope this helps/or gives you an idea what to expect

Flycut and get 243s milled for even more power.
While sinking valves allow MS3 to fit, that comes at a price (power). That combo is a shortcut (no offence to designers and operators).
My opinion, do it right and find the true potential of the MS3. Should be 450>460rwhp on A4
