need help 220 wiring to panelbox

Default need help 220 wiring to panelbox

hi im new here. hello to all.
first off i do have general knowledge of electrical wiring. but this stumps me. how would i put 4 wire 6 gauge into main panel box and then run into sub panel in garage. the wires i have to run are all black unmarked. please any help is appreciated. i have to start wiring this tomorrow

If they haven't been pulled yet then mark the ends
(like by nicking insulation 1, 2, 3, 4 times at both
ends of the wires).

If they are already pulled through, you could twist
two of the far ends together and use an ohmmeter
to determine which two, at the main panel; mark
wires at main end. Then untwist the far end and
retwist one of the original two to a different one;
see which one you still ohm out in a loop, call that
one neutral and mark both ends accordingly, etc.
Will take a while but you can dope it out.
