Default 72 camaro 12 bolt

my buddy offered me his moser 12 bolt out of his 72 camaro for pennies on the dollar of what he bought it for about 4 yrs ago. the rear/car made maybe 8 passes and has been garaged most of its life. any chance it would work in a 4th gen? if so what would need to be changed?

That 12 bolt will fit Camaro's from 70-81. Sell it and add a little and get one to fit your car.

Id buy it, sell it, and be closer to buying a 12 bolt or 9" for your car.

You can use the internal parts and sell the housing to someone with early setup, then just buy the housing and axle package for your car. I guess it would depend on how cheap you got it, if it was worth it or not.
