Buy back from insurance???

Buy back from insurance??? Hello, I am new to the site. I recently drove my 98' trans am into a ditch 
and did a ton of comestic damage. After the minor colision, I drove the car home approx. 2 miles. Antifreeze was leaking but the car never heated up. The insurance company blew me away when they said they were going to total the car instead of fix it. Basically, it needs new front bumper, fascia, RH Flip-up headlight assembly, RH Fender, windshield, radiator. There also was also cosmetic damage to the RH door, mirror and RH rear quarter. As far as structural, everything is fine. Nothing with suspension, frame, steering, wheels, airbags, t-tops. It all is fine and it was a really nice car. The insurance company is offering buy-back for $1475. Before I get to the insurance agent I need to know your opinions. Thanks,
