EFI live has a very cool dashboard display. I haven't looked at HPT's in the last 2 years, so I am unsure how theirs looks.

I use EFILive and their scan tool is very nice and my favorite scan tool. Here is a shot of the Dashboard. What's nice is I can log additional PID's not displayed on the Dashboard under the Data Tab. A very nice feature for secondary PID's like Trans temp or whatever you want.

Thumbs up

EFILive's dash's are fully customizable to look/behave any way you like. I've seen some really pimp dash displays on the EFILive forum

The one I posted is one of the pre-canned dash's I've hacked on a bit.

Here's some more

HPT's dashboard is completely customizable as well though although not as pretty as EFI live but it still works.

Here is a shot of mine that I took on a crazy cold morning in the winter.. lol..

Any colors can be used any backgrounds and anything you want to see you can create.

Depends on what you want to do and what kind of deal you can arrange with a reseller. Ball park, to get a dash on your instrument cluster LCD, you can figure around $400 for new gear.

Our Scanner only package starts at $349 for the Standard interface with upgrade paths if you'd like to consider tuning in the future. And your not limited to scanning Just LS1's with our interface you can scan ANY vehicle on our supported list including Fords.

BTW here's something I was able to whip up today. I'll be honest with you doing a good background pic is the most time consuming part & difficult part, actually setting up the gauges is pretty straightforward in both packages. If you have a background in graphic design & such doing something very good looking won't be difficult at all with either.

While gauges provide eye candy they have little real functionality when it comes to tuning or even scanning a vehicle for the most part. I haven't used the gauges while driving in several years & never had the need for them while tuning a vehicle.

Yeah our graph display does this as well

This is one of the more useful views and is the best to review logs with.
