how do i check pushrods and lifters?

Default how do i check pushrods and lifters?

i have a 02 ta and its ticking and i think its the injectors but i want to check the pushrods and lifters i was needing to know how to and what i need i know on a sbc u can just pull the intake and valve covers and do it but i heard the ls1 s are a bit different.

Unfortunately, LS1's require the heads to be pulled to get to the lifters. When does it tick, all the time? Have you checked for a bent pushrod, which is common from an over rev. Pull the pushrods, roll them on glass and verify they are straight. Lifters shouldn't be an issue if you are mostly stock.
