Wet Shot necessities

Wet Shot necessities
M'kay, so i'm dead set on gettin a wet shot setup once i pull all my funds together and i'ma newb to it. I've got a few questions...
i want to do a 100 shot and no more.
1)i know i need a window switch, a fuel pressure sensor, a bottle warmer, a nitrous guage and i want a wot switch. Other than the basic kit with the plate and solenoids what do i need parts wise? i want to start gathering them used in the classifieds if i can.
2) with a 100 shot will i have to retard my timing? Will i have to change my fuel pump or injectors? Is a tune a big necessity?
3) is there a huge part of this that i'm completely oblivious to?
In the end i'm lookin to spend about $800 or less and i'll do used parts if it's not something i need to rely on heavily... like the bottle warmer. thanks

well i am crazy i guess but i would just run a nozzle universal kit for 550 and be done with everything. i run without most the stuff you listed in number 1. with only a 100 shot i would just change plugs to tr-6 and be done. you do not need a tune or pull timing for a 100 shot.
what is your platform, m6 or a4, stock motor.
i have a 100 shot with only a full throttle switch and tr6 and it runs fine for a m6 TA.

word, it's an m6 stock motor. I've just worked to have this car for years and want to run no risks whatsoever. So that's why i want all the safety precautions.
but okay so i NEED to change the plugs and i don't need a tune? i've gotta have a window switch for piece of mind. And i know i really don't need a bottle warmer
i appreciate the advice man
Does everyone seem to agree or have more input?

Stock Motor 100 Wet, probably does not need much tuning. Although its worth your time to dyno it and make sure the AFR is 11-12 on spray. I did not need to change any timing up to a 100 shot when stock (but each car has a mind of its own
I would recommend a Bottle heater, else we will see ya in a few weeks posting the why was my 100 shot weak? We will ask "What was was the pressure" ; you will say 750 ish... and we will say get a heater and try 950-1000....

Stick with the stuff you listed, Dont be a fool and run without a window switch, one mis shift and hello lack of fuel. The gauges can wait unless you have the money because 2 electric gauges will be 400+ BUT youll know how your system is operating. As far as the window switch though, i personally know of a buddy with a stang that accidently left his system on with out a window switch and gunned it down low, now he has a nice new TT set up lol

okay yeah the lean cut off is one that i'll add to the list. I don't really go to the track too often but the blowdown tubes aren't too expensive anyway right?
thanks for the advice everyone

if the car is on stock tuning, you wouldnt have to pull timing on the 100 shot. But if the car has been tuned before it is probably running 28-29* so you would want to pull some timing. Stock tuning is 25* timing, which is what i'm running on the 100 shot. I would say save up for a wideband so you can keep an eye on the afr. Best investment i have made on my n2o kit. You are never guessing what the afr is cause its right in front of ya!
